Context
I needed to design and define the behavior of the feature that will let users assign maps to temi via Temi Center website.
temi center is a website created for businesses to help them develop bulk changes for their temi fleet, such as bulk settings changes, etc. I was assigned to this project because of my experience in creating user experiences and user interfaces in websites/mobile apps/operating systems; I assisted the team with understanding the context of the product and the users it would serve.

Goals: Define and design a feature that will let users assign maps to temi.

Team: I lead the project work in collaboration with VP R&D, front-end developers, backend developers.

Work Type: Agile.

Success Metrics: Users can map the environment once and assign this map to multiple robots.
The role of Map Editor feature at temi
This feature should serve its purpose and will be used via temi's distributors. The main usage going to be one of the most used ones on the Temi Center website. It will save users time and will make the experience more pleasing.
Talk to potential users
Based on the information gathered in interviews, I formed a persona.
I have understood clearly what our users want so that I can start the design process.
Design Iterations
A few attempts before the final design.
Design Iterations
Final Design
Send a map to the robot
Add Virtual Wall to the map
Add a Path - temi will use this road if nothing interrupts the movement
Save the location on the map - so you can send the robot there afterward
Conclusions

- Map Editor design is easy and intuitive; however, there were a few tech limitations
- Map Editor saves user's time for not mapping if robots are in the same place
- Was it successful? Our analytics and support shows that it is
